Rountrip between Southern California and either airport runs from $275 - $460, depending on how far in advance you book the tickets and the days you stay. Car rentals are available in both airports from Hertz, and also from Enterprise in North Bend. Both Eugene and Medford have slightly larger airports, plus rental cars, and are a three-hour drive. You can fly into Eugene on US Airways, United, Horizon Air/Alaska and Delta. And, into Medford on America West, Horizon Air, Skywest/Delta and United. And, you can fly into Portland International on quite a few airlines, with plenty of rental car options. Portland is about a 4 1/2 to 5 hour drive from here. Area surrounding the hotel:
WildSpring is located in secluded, peaceful residential forest of second-growth 100-ft trees overlooking the ocean. In a lovely, naturally beautiful setting, deer roam freely, and as a birding site on the Oregon Coast Birding Trail, it is home to a wonderful collection of bird species.

The unique experience provided by this property:
They receive personal attention to their group needs in a private, secluded space that is both naturally beautiful and luxurious. They also have access to the best of the spectacular Oregon coast without a lot of crowds. See www.wildspring.com/southcoast.htm for information on recreational opportunities and attractions. We can arrange for fishing, jetboating and hiking excursions, and can bring local facilitators for everything from art classes to yoga, how to play guitar, Native American flute, and drumming circles. We can arrange for tours of local attractions, such as the Cape Blanco lighthouse. Groups also have tremendous flexibility here to arrange for their meals. We can arrange barbeques, catering, onsite chefs; or the group can use the modern kitchen to prepare some meals for themselves, or we can arrange group meals offsite.

Service standards of this property:
We want people to feel like they are honored guests at a private estate. We try to ensure everything is perfect for the guests while we remain invisible.

Things a guest must experience at this property:
1. 1. Immersed in the hot tub overlooking the ocean either in the day looking for whales or at night looking up at the Milky Way (Port Orford is a Dark Skies Initiative city that considers its starry nights a natural resource).
2. 2. Sitting on the lookout at sunset.
3. 3. Lying in bed, listening to the wind through the trees, watching the tree tops sway through the peak window.
